The objective of this course is to provide students with insights into the problems and opportunities involved in managing growth in entrepreneurial ventures, which include start-ups, established firms, as well as one’s personal life. The course is designed to introduce a series of research-based concepts and frameworks that enable people to manage entrepreneurially in organizations of all sizes and types. Hereby, the course consciously draws on a multitude of perspectives from research and practice alike to address the numerous and complex challenges in society today. This also allows students to take a step back and reflect on the growth dimensions and goals they find relevant and actionable from their own perspectives. Thus, this course not only addresses how to grow, but also includes a discussion of why to grow in a certain way.
