SSE’s undergraduate course in Applied History, which has been given since 2020, teaches students to apply historical lessons to some of the great challenges of the twenty-first century. Teaching takes place at the University of Cambridge and the School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C. The course is given by the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication.

Application deadline for the spring term 2023 is 25 November. Second and third year bachelor’s students at SSE are eligible. More information can be found on the SSE Portal under course 767 Applied History.
