SSE’s undergraduate course in Applied History, which has been given since 2020, teaches students to apply historical lessons to some of the great challenges of the twenty-first century. Teaching takes place at the University of Cambridge, King's College London, the School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C., and the Engelsberg Ironworks in Sweden.
The course is given by the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication at SSE, which forms part of the Ax:son Johnson Institute for Statecraft and Diplomacy.
Application deadline for the spring term 2024 is November 23. Second- and third-year Bachelor students at SSE are eligible. More information can be found on SSE's portal under course 767 Applied History.
